Our Eco Village was built with the environment in mind
We are proud to have developed lodges that are both inviting and respectful to the environment. We opted for hi-tech supports instead of digging foundations, meaning no concrete was used in their construction. Our innovative design is setting a new standard when it comes to ecologically friendly lodging.
We’re pleased to be able to preserve the integrity of the land and its potential archaeological artifacts, as well as upholding respect for our local animal friends – it’s a situation that benefits us all.
Sustainably sourced materials
Our lodges are thoughtfully constructed to be as sustainable as possible, using only timber sourced from responsibly managed forests in the UK. In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint we have implemented renewable energy sources such as solar power and are researching the possibility of harnessing wind energy too! We don’t compromise on comfort either; each lodge is insulated throughout to ensure you stay cosy even in the depths of winter.
We even have an onsite Eco Laundry
Enjoy your vacation to the fullest by taking advantage of our eco-friendly onsite laundry facilities. No more coming home from a holiday, only to have to tackle a mountain of washing! We even use our grey waste for agricultural purposes, further enhancing our green practices.
Future Plans for our Eco Village
We are committed to making our facilities even more accessible and convenient. Our plans for the future include; installing a Borehole, as well as charging points for cars. This way, you don’t have to worry about finding a suitable spot to charge your vehicle!
