Brockhill Country Park

Explore all sorts of wildlife and flora at our four stations, each within walking distance of a beach. Take part in coast and country walks, visit medieval churches or iconic lighthouses – there’s something for everyone!

The Royal Military Canal

The Royal Military Canal is a 28-mile (45 km) long waterway in England, constructed in the early 19th century to defend the southeast of England from the threat of invasion from the Continent. It runs from Hythe in the west, near the ancient Cinque Port of Romney Marsh, to Cliff End in the east, on the coast near Rye.

It is a popular spot for walkers, cyclists, and boaters, with a number of pubs, cafes, and restaurants along its length.

In the summer months, you can hire a Rowing Boat.

Hythe Beach

Pack your towel and head to Hythe beach in Kent for a calming daycation. Admire the clear blue water and let your feet sink into the mix of shingles and pebbles.

Get ready to dip your toes in the shallows and enjoy a refreshing swim! If all that fun has made you hungry, take a short stroll and indulge in an ice cream treat.

Don’t forget, if you’re lucky enough to have a sunny day, keep an eye out for France across the sea!
